I've had a strange question about the tee shirt design competition along the lines of "what good is a tee shirt on radio? No one can see it!"While this is normally a good thing (you know, because I have a face for radio) JOY does get out and about quite a bit through out the year and this is your opportunity to have your design worn by 150 JOY 94.9 volunteers at each station event in 2009 over 12 months. JOY 94.9 has the strongest people presence across many gay and lesbian events over the year with all volunteers wearing uniform tee shirts, so your design will be seen at a plethora of events including Midsumma, Pride March, Mardi Gras, Melbourne Queer Film Festival and National Youth Week.
On top of that of the first 200 tee shirts to be printed in the initial run, we will be setting aside 50 to sell to the public to raise funds for the station. Who knows Adrian from Andy and Adrian might be able to convince Millsy to wear it at the next JOY CD launch. Or just imagine, you could be heading down the street and walking towards you is the hottest spunk in town wearing your tee shirt. I've prepared a pick up line for you, "Hi good looking. I see you're already in my tee shirt... wanna get in my pants too?"

Great idea ... although Millsy without a t-shirt does sound slight more appealing ;)
