Coming Up: Bushfire Appeal

This is a very difficult time for many in our community at the moment and I offer my humble condolences to those affected by the recent bushfire tragedy.

JOY 94.9 and The ALSO Foundation have come together to provide an opportunity for you to provide material aid to help out those who have been affected. Throughout this week we will be accepting donations of toiletries, such as moisturiser, sunscreen, lip balm, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, brushes, combs, hairbrushes, sanitary products, nappies, babies bottles, pacifiers and toilet bags. We will also accept new underwear, socks and bra's in all sizes. On top of that luxury toilet items, such as colognes and perfumes will be very welcome. It's these little things that can help people feel a little special and we will ensure that all goods donated will be taken to the centres that require them at the end of this week. This is a small but important gesture in supporting those who have lost everything to begin the task of rebuilding their lives.

Please do not bring food of any kind or general clothing as these items have not been requested. We will collect donations at Levels 8 and 9 of 225 Bourke Street. Please call the station if you would like more information 9699 2949.
