Coming Up: State of Play Classic Cinema May 25

The weather is getting worse. I just stuck my hand outside and it's about minus 2 million degrees outside right now. No jokes. So, at the station, we're going to keep our activities located in places that are nice and snug.

I can't think of a better way to stay warm than to sneak into the Classic Cinema in Elsternwick, grab some freshly popped pop corn drizzled with butter and curl up next to a hottie. To help keep your blood racing, we're also going to be having a special preview screening of the new thriller State of Play at the Classic at 7pm on Monday May 25.

The screen will ignite with Academy Awards winners Russell Crowe, Helen Mirren, Ben Affleck and Academy Award nominee Rachael McAdams. You're in for quite an exciting ride too, as it's an American adaptation of a hit British mini series (and we all know they're all quite popular, ala Queer as Folk). The story is based on a series of suspicious circumstances that set a rising congressman and a dogged reporter on a dangerous collision course.

There are 40 double passes to be won and to enter the draw all you have to do is email your name and JOY membership number to win@joy.org.au. Entries close at midnight on Thursday May 21 and winners will be notified by email. More details of this exciting film here.
